FlinkISO access is layered. Roles allow actions, while sharing and table permissions control the documents and form records a user can reach. A user needs both the relevant permission and access to the underlying document or table.

Roles and action permissions

Assign roles according to responsibility. Review create, view, edit, delete, approve, publish, report and administrative actions. Keep administrator access limited to the people who configure the QMS.

Document access

Use the document access controls to share by location or branch, department, designation or individual user. These choices affect the document and the generated form that belongs to it.

Custom table permissions

Open the custom form’s configuration and select Table Permissions. Apply the allowed actions for the users or groups that should work with the table. The configuration page loads this section when its tab is selected.

Copy an access profile

When two users have the same responsibility, use the access-copy tool to reproduce an existing access profile, then review the copied settings. This is faster than repeating every rule and still gives you a clear review point.
